vol.76 オリジナリティーを尊重しない日本

洋画家の和田義彦氏の盗作問題には驚きました。いや呆れました。
芸術の世界も物づくりの世界も独創性が求められます。
物づくりの世界に長く身を置きましたが、特許出願時に発明者を決めるのにいつも苦労をしました。
チームで仕事をしていますし、実験の積み重ねによって新しい発見が生まれるからです。
この点が理論物理と違うところですが、根っこには和をもって尊しとなす伝統的精神があるからでしょうか。

お寺の総代をしている関係でよくお説教を聞きます。
説教の中身は「ご開祖様の説法」の伝道であり、この場合の開祖は釈迦ではないのです。
仏教が導入されて以来、日本の開祖たちは釈迦の説かれた多数の教典中で最高の教えを求めました。
釈迦は
”輪廻転生の世界を創造。悪いことをすれば地獄へ落ちる。結果として人間に生まれ変わることができない”
と教えました。このような話はお説教の中には一度も出てきません。

仏教の世界でも分かる通り、創設者のオリジナリティーよりも、１，２の経典を修正した開祖様様です。
千年も２千年も時が流れての話ですから、問題にする方がおかしいかもしれません。
科学の世界はどんなに時を経ていても、オリジナリティーを大事にする世界だと思います。
しかし、食品や食品化学の場合はこの限りではないようです。
料理と同じらしく特許があること自体を不思議がられ、逆に私は驚いています。
