vol.72 農業法人と提携しトータルでのヤーコン事業展開にメド

これまで農家の方に栽培をお願いしたり、企業にお願いして栽培を拡大してきました。
直接農家の方との交渉は品質管理や集荷の点で問題がありました。
また、企業の場合は農業が専門ではなく、儲からなければ簡単に止めていかれます。
栽培上の課題を持ち寄り改善し、ノウハウをマニュアル化するなどの作業ができませんでした。
それどころか在来種の欠点（主としてひび割れ）から栽培を止める人の方が多い状況でした。

ヤーコンの新品種「アンデスの雪」ができたお陰で、当方も自信を持って栽培を勧められます。
また、ヤーコンだけでなくヤーコンジュースとブレンドするニンジン、ブロッコリー、ケールなどの野菜や
ヤーコン茶の中に使用するハブ茶、ハトムギ、大麦、桑の葉などの栽培もお願いすることにしています。
使用する原料がすべて国産で、かつ栽培者の顔が見える利点があります。
栽培者も作った物が全部売れ、年間売上収入の計算ができる点も大きいようです。

ヤーコンにいち早く着目し、科学的な裏づけと特許に守られた事業展開を志してきました。
結果として、ヤーコン搾汁の緑色と黄色の２件の基本特許を取得し、
ヤーコン入りの麺や酢の用途特許もそれぞれ取得しました。
ヤーコン搾汁の緑の色素の構造や麺のコシや茹でのびしにくい物性もとれました。
更に今回農業法人とタイアップできたことで、栽培、加工、販売・サービスまで
トータルで仕事ができるとの確信が得られました。
