vol.66 靖国問題の解決を小沢一郎代表に託したい

靖国問題が外交問題化したのは小泉総理の配慮不足によるところ大でしょう。
自民党政権下、宗教問題に政治が介入できないの一点張りで靖国問題を避けてきました。
そこへA級戦犯を分祀して天皇がお参りできる靖国に戻すとの小沢発言が飛び出しました。
私は小沢さんのような剛腕政治家なら言葉通り実現できると信じます。
元々政治家が合祀したことであり、政治外交問題になった以上、政治で解決すべきでしょう。

私は戦時中、父、父の弟２人、それに祖父をほぼ同時に失いました。
そして父の弟は戦死して、靖国に祭られています。私も３回靖国神社に参拝しました。
終戦前日の８月１４日、私の住む光市では海軍工廠が空爆を受け、多数の命が奪われました。
私の妻の実家は広島市の平和公園内にあり、８月６日、原爆ですべてを失いました。
義父は戦地に居て辛うじて難を逃れ、義母や妻は疎開して原爆に遇わずに済みました。

私は日本がどうして負け戦を始めたのかと同様に、
戦争を止める決断をもっと早くできなかったのかを疑問に思ってきました。
東条英機ら指導者が１億総玉砕の道を選んだことはどうしても許すことができません。
本来、戦死者を祭る靖国神社であったはずです。本土空爆や原爆で亡くなった人は祭らず、
戦争の終結を遅らせた指導者を祭る靖国は許せません。宮司にもその権限はないはずです。
