vol.46 日本の現状を心配し、子や孫たちに素直に詫びたい

新年を迎え今年も愚直に物づくり一筋に生きる決意を改めてした経緯は以下の通りです。
1月4日、地元の経済人新年互礼会に参加しました。
日本を先導するはずの国会議員3人の挨拶の中で、
景気が良くなったとか、構造改革が進んでいるなどのきれい事の話を聞き胸を痛めました。
また、大晦日から正月のテレビや新聞を見て「何か変だな」と考え込みました。
見たいテレビがなく、聴きたい歌（横文字多く言葉が貧しい）も読みたい記事もありません。
お宮に参詣する人は多く
お店にも人はあふれて、高額な福袋も飛ぶように売れているようですが、
子供の遊ぶ笑い声は聞けません。

2005年は人口が減少に転じた年となりました。
これから急速に右肩下がりの社会がやってきます。
政治家はアメリカの言いなりで動き、企業家は過去の遺産の上にあぐらを書き、
新しい物づくりへの自信を失い、
生産拠点を海外へ移し、当面のコスト競争に追われています。
官僚は官から民への掛け声もあって思考停止状態に陥り、
メディアは間違ったヒーローを作って視聴率をかせぎ、社会の堕落を助長しています。

先の大戦でなぜ日本が負けたのかを考えるため、昨年は多くの本を読みました。
陸軍の暴走を許した組織上の問題点や、マスコミも間違った世論形成に加担し、
国民も疑いを持たなかった
など色々考察されてはいますが、責任者が誰であったかは今も闇の中です。
しかし恐らく日露戦争に勝って一等国或いは横綱になった気分で過ちを犯したとすれば、
今日世界第二の経済大国になり
現在もその延長線上で過ちを犯しているのではないかと考えてしまいます。
官僚の莫大な無駄遣いにもかかわらず私達は年金で生活できますが、
子供達はとっくにできないことを知っています。

私達の両親が負け戦を止められなかったこと詫びていたように、
私達は子供や孫達に詫びねばなりません。
こんな借金大国にし、事件の多発する暗い社会にしたのは、他ならぬ私たち自身です。
謝罪で済む話ではありません。
せめてヤーコンにでもこだわり、食と農と子や孫の健康のために働くしか私にはできないと言葉ではなく汗を流し、かつ心で詫びるお正月でした。
